DSIP — research protocol

Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide (DSIP) — a small nonapeptide (Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu) studied for its ability to modulate deep-wave (delta) sleep, normalize circadian rhythm, and buffer stress-induced HPA axis activity.

DSIP, or delta sleep-inducing peptide, is a small nine-amino-acid peptide initially isolated from the cerebral venous blood of sleeping rabbits. It is known for promoting delta-wave activity in EEG recordings, which marks deep non-REM sleep.

Higher research planning200-300 mcgsingle evening dose 1-3 hours before intended sleepshort cyclesSubQ

Cycle: Short course (5-7 nights), Standard cycle (4 weeks), or Extended cycle (6-8 weeks)

Benefits and research observations: Subjective sleep changes are often reported on nights 1-2. By week 1, sleep architecture and daytime alertness can be measured, with week 4 being a typical review point.

Handling and storage

Store unreconstituted product according to its label and maintain the cold chain where applicable. After any preparation, follow only validated instructions for the specific product and diluent. Do not use if packaging is damaged or the solution shows particles or unexpected changes.
